Founded in the spirit of collaboration, DUMO is led by creative director Olive Cooke and head craftsman Morgan Richards. After combining their strengths into custom designs for Olive’s home build, the duo decided their fine teamwork deserved a more accessible place in the world and got to work creating a collection to share all that good decision making.

We may be a lighthearted bunch, but when it comes to crafting we take things pretty seriously. All DUMO materials are chosen with a strict criteria for quality, longevity and sustainable impact, then treated to enhance these traits. We produce our pieces to order with respect for their materials and the role they’ll play in your space, making sure each will handle itself through many years of exposure to natural elements, heavy use and good old fun.

We work exclusively with FSC-certified timber, meaning it’s grown, harvested and processed to support responsible forestry practices. Our interior pieces are crafted in American oak or American walnut, which are both known for their inherent strength and durability, while our exterior designs rely on wood from fast-growing, carbon-catching Accoya trees and thermally modified red oak. The DUMO collection also features powder-coated stainless steel, which produces zero toxic runoff, is infinitely recyclable and lasts for yonks.
